Great little place on the water especially if you are bringing a boat. The house was perfect! It was my birthday and our host Charity even got me a birthday cake and card. We will definitely be back!!

My family stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier. Hurricane Helene threw a wrench in our plans but we made the most of it. The location of this home could not be more perfect. The dock is large with a wonderful location to get out on the water with beautiful views. The home was adorable and well stocked with everything you could need! I also must point out that the ice maker is wonderful and makes a good amount of ice. We enjoyed having bikes to scoot around. Lots of yummy restaurants nearby and friendly neighbors. Charity was super communicative and friendly. We will be back for sure ! 10/10 recommend.

This booking is managed by a realty company which charges an additional $125 resort fee. No big deal, but a bit annoying to deal with. You have to stop upon entry to the resort, fill out even more paperwork, pay the fee, and then you are free to checkin. Again, no big deal, but annoying after a long drive. After AirBnB booking, they require you to fill out a separate agreement to confirm the booking and opt in to texts. I received almost 20 texts before checkin from three different numbers, and a handful during our three day stay. Although helpful, it was a bit much. In one text, they instructed me to download the app which required more information input, and I never used it for anything at all. Overall, great place, great stay, well managed, etc., but it was a lot of communication and paperwork for a three night visit. All that said, I would probably book again....good value.

We had a wonderful "get-away". Beds were clean and comfy, couch and LR Seating was super nice and comfortable for watching movies. Well stocked with the basic necessities and plenty of clean new bath towels! Location with a boat slip was exceptional. We rented a boat for 3 days from Big Pine Key Boat Rentals which has a location across the bridge a mile away. The boat was perfect for five of us and yes, we had a great time fishing! The big one's got away but we all caught a lot of fish! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was immaculate and comfortable. We dined outside every night overlooking the canal. It was a quiet neighborhood and people were friendly. The only information we would have liked before we arrived is the fact they dogs are not allowed to be walked in the neighborhood. This is in no way a reflection on the property or owners. It is a rule of the neighborhood. However, had we known that we would have to drive our dog out of the neighborhood for walks, we would not have brought him. However, the property itself is highly recommended. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Can’t say enough good things about this place and the host-Last Key!!! Everything was spotless, fresh and clean! Exactly as pictured and advertised. Very welcoming and comfortable from the minute we walked in the door. The basket of beach towels was so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and breakfast on the deck was a great way to start the day!! Be on the lookout for iguanas sunning on the branches across the canal! Beds were comfy and bath towels were nice and thick! Wish we had a couple more days to enjoy the kayaks…. We would definitely book this place again!!

We had a great time at the property. From the moment we arrived everything was setup for us. Everything was clean and organized. There were instructions for everything including what to do in the area. The house had bikes and kayaks plus the dock which made getting around and enjoying the keys so simple. Tidewater views was perfect. The staff at last key reality was super accommodating. Every question was answered and they went out of their way to make sure everything was up to par. We arrived to an array of thoughtful snacks. The place is beautiful all around. The view and waterfront were lovely and interior newly remodeled. Clean, orderly, and thoroughly stocked. The house manager, Laura, was fantastic and helpful. Eager to please and accommodate any and all requests that we may have.
Take note of dog policy. You cannot walk or potty your dog inside premises. They have to be walked outside of the community. Luckily, there are convenient walking pathes.

My family of four really enjoyed ourselves in this cottage on the canal. The open concept unit was clean with ample storage, equipped with 4 bikes, 3 kayaks and a paddle board. The outside deck was perfect for outside dinning since it was shaded from the hot afternoon sun. The grounds were cute and well maintained with friendly locals and vacationers. Pool and bathrooms were clean and refreshing after long days touring the islands. Unit manager reached out serval times to confirm that we were comfortable and if we needed anything. This property offers wonderful features for so many activities in the Keys. We enjoyed the Pickleball open play in the mornings. It was the most welcoming group of people! Their paddles-in-play rotation worked great and we got plenty of play time on their two courts. The outdoor living space at the house was wonderful for coffee on the deck or dinner outside in the evenings. We enjoyed reading on the loungers beside the water. One day we rented a boat and we were able to pull right up to the house which was so cool! The time to Key West was a short 35 mins depending on traffic. We had a fabulous time and this location fit all our Florida Vacation dreams! Oh, and Laura from Last Key Realty was superb on communication and ensuring our trip was excellent! Thanks Laura!!!

We spent a week here and loved everything about it. We liked that we were away from the hustle and bustle of Key West but not too far that we could be down for the day. The house is right on the canal and only two or three houses down from the open ocean. We used the kayaks and paddle boards several times and really enjoyed it. My husband and son fished right from the back patio into the canal and caught several fish. It was a truly relaxing week.

Beautiful and peaceful location! About 30 minutes away from the heart of Key West, so keep that in mind. We had to uber several times. Other than that, such a great time watching boats go by and watching pelicans gracefully fly everyday. Perfect spot for coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. They had bikes accessible to ride, coffee for us to drink and fantastic communication! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We arrived after dark on a Tuesday evening. Security was very friendly, checked us in and gave us directions to the property. The property manager (Laura) had the lights on for us which was a welcoming sight. She also had some treats for too. Very good! We walked in and were very impressed with the house The place was clean and very nicely decorated. We did not lack for a single thing. We were able to ride the bicycles around the area and enjoy the views. We stopped at the onsite grocery store and were impressed how well the store was stocked. The morning we left we got up and were able to view the sunrise. It was a morning to remember! Beautiful!!!

This place was great! Super clean and had everything you needed. Communication was quick and smooth, and checking in with the Venture Out resort was simple, as well as getting into our individual house! Location was great, about 40 minutes from downtown Key West but quiet and relaxing where you are located in Cudjoe.
Just a heads up for anyone planing to bring a dog, there’s an additional $200 pet fee and the Venture Out resort doesn’t allow you to walk your dog around the facilities, they’re confined to your individual lot (which we didn’t know ahead of time). Our lab did pretty good, and we found him a dog park about 15 minutes away in Big Pine to give him some activity when we weren’t able to take him out or when we weren’t on the boat! But overall would definitely recommend using Last Key and staying at this place!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at this property. It worked out perfectly. We had plenty of space, the kitchen was stocked, the house decor is nice and everything was clean. We took advantage of having kayaks and a paddleboard on site and just dropped them right in the canal. Having the chairs to sunbathe on the dock was a plus as well. Five days was too short of a vacation!

The property was very clean, had everything we needed, with Extra special touches you don’t normally get-like a hair dryer. Extra beach towels, dish soap and laundry detergent and plenty of toilet paper and trash bags to get us through our stay without having to go buy it. Awesome stay! Not far from key west and had great amenities. Perfect for someone who has a boat. There is great local fishing areas by boat. The lagoon area and swimming pool are lovely with a great view. The house was cute and clean with lovely complimentary snacks when we arrived. Space had everything that was advertised and the property manager was very responsive and welcoming. Can’t beat the views!

This place is exactly as described. Very clean, and perfect location. The houses are very close together but the neighbors were very friendly. Location is perfect for sightseeing from Islamorada all the way down to Key West. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Keys. Fully equipped kitchen, if you just want to stay in and relax. We were charged an amenity fee when we arrived (they have shuffle board, a pool, and hot tub) but we never used any of those things, that was really our only downside to this stay.

I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals before but none better than this place! It was the most clean, had the best stocked kitchen, included several personal touches never experienced before, and had more amenities than any other property I’ve visited. This property had everything we were looking for in our trip to the Keys. Venture Out Resort offered wonderful amenities. We were able to access the boat ramp and dock the boat in front of this rental. Plenty of pots, pans, spices, and cooking utensils to do some cooking. It was clean and neat. Everything was provided. It was very clean and sanitized. Bikes, Kayaks and everything from water vest to an air pump was provided. Great room was nice size for four adults. The property is beautifully furnished, with a split floor plan, roomy kitchen and living area and being pet friendly was a plus! It is situated near the end of the canal with easy access to the open water. We enjoyed our stay so much, and Laura with Last Key rental was always available, reaching out to make sure we had everything we needed. The layout of the living space is perfect with plenty of seating at the big kitchen island. We had neighbors that came down too and stayed in another property and we all had dinner together at this property. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Thoroughly enjoyed this property. Nicely updated house on a private canal surrounded by great neighbors. It had every convenience I needed. Modern kitchen, comfortable beds, and a beautiful washer and dryer. Kayaks were awesome and we ended up using them for one entire day plus a couple of evenings. House is very close to clear grass flats for fishing. Laura was outstanding and really went above and beyond. Always available by text or phone and very fast to respond to the few questions we had. The location was excellent. The property owner was always prompt when responding to any questions that I had. Bo's was very clean and beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed using the kayak and paddleboard. The view was beautiful. Considering that everything was closing down in the keys because of the coronavirus, we spent alot of time at Bo's fishing in the canal and swimming in the pool at Venture Out. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing.

Unfortunately it rained most of the time during our stay but overall it was a very nice place. Lots of activities sponsored by the community. We missed the pancakes on Sunday morning but had a good time playing bingo on Sunday night. No winnings! :-( Played bocce at the very nice bocce “court”. Swimming pool was nice. It was certainly nice having the bicycles to be able to bike around the complex. Val and Terry were very good about checking in with us to see if we needed anything.

This was our first time in the lower keys. The owner, Terry, was very quick to answer our questions. Although we didn’t have any issues during our stay, if any had risen, i felt confident they would be resolved promptly as the owner lives nearby. The home is located on a clean, convenient channel to open water; we rented a boat during our stay and it was easy to navigate. Bikes were fun to use with the kids, wish we would have had more time to use the kayaks. Snorkels, life jackets, pool noodles are all available. There is a non functional fishing pole, this would be my only complaint. The resort pool was nice with a great view. We felt the resort fee was overpriced, not the fault of the owners, but well management and regulated for safely and quietness at night. It was about 30-40 min drive to Duval street in the evening traffic but nice to come back to a quiet place after dinner with the family. Would definitely rent again when visiting key west especially if we were docking a boat.

We had a great experience. Unit was clean and on a canal off of the Gulf of Mexico. We were able to swim, fish, kayak,and paddle-board right at our unit. We saw a manatee swimming in our canal and lots of pelicans. Terry our host gave us great suggestions on where to eat and activity ideas. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

First of all I have to say the whole process was very simple. The owners Terry and Val were very prompt with any inquiries. The property was very nice. We have been coming to the keys for 24 years and decided to try a different area. Terry was awesome when we arrived he came by to make sure everything was good. We loved his suggestions for boating, fishing, getting gas at the marina, and restaurants. We really had great meals and loved all of his suggestions. It really made the whole trip. One of the suggestions was going to looe key to snorkel on an incoming high tide. We had the clearest water that day. The unit was perfect for our group. Very cute inside. They had a bottle of wine for us on the counter. Also a few staples already were there even though I plan ahead and bring most of my own items. There were enough items to get you started. Thank you Terry and Val. We hope to see you all again.

First time visiting the Keys and we were all delighted with choice of accommodation and location. We would have absolutely no hesitation staying here again and would recommend. The house was perfect for my family of four. Cold AC. We really enjoyed the porch. Grill was new. Kitchen had everything you could desire. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine and a card from Val. She and her husband are great to work with and stay in communication with you very well. They do whatever is necessary to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. The canal is a very clean canal with no weeds. I kept my boat at the dock. The fend off boat fenders are great. We loved the resort and my kids and wife used the pool a lot as they loved it. We rode the bikes to the pool and I rode the bike to Cudjoe Sales tackle shop which is very close. The resort security people were all very nice and helped me park my boat trailer. The resort has everything you need for boating. They even had a high pressure sprayer to spay your trailer and boat off with. I spoke with many other people staying at the resort and they were all so nice and friendly and my kind of people for sure. Everyone waved and spoke. Looe key was great snorkeling but my favorite for snorkeling and fishing was the Content Keys. The live bottom and fish we saw there was incredible. Key West is about 20 minutes away. We enjoyed Sloppy Joes and Mel Fishers museum. We loved the house and the resort and would definitely stay again.

We had a most wonderful time staying at Val & Terry's place on Cudjoe Key! The four of us were made to feel at home as soon as we walked through the door. A nice hand written card wishing us a great vacation and a bottle of wine welcomed us as we walked into the kitchen. The next morning, Terry greeted us as we sipped on coffee by the canal on a most beautiful morning. He gave us lots of tips and advice on visiting Key West and some local favorite spots to dine at. We felt the stay there went by a little too quickly and were sad to have to leave. 5 stars and 8 thumbs up!

Family use to live in the Lower Keys, so when we decided to have a family vacation, I had a good idea where we wanted to stay. Val and Terry’s rental came up and I knew it would be a great location close to Bahia Honda and Key West, without the noise of KW. It was truly a wonderful rental. Right on the canal allows kayaking and use of a SUP. If the Ocean is rough, kids can still enjoy the protection of the canal while using the kayaks. We even had a manatee visit us on the last day. Terry stopped by early in our stay to ensure everything was fine on our arrival and fill us in on the changes since we were last down. I would not hesitate to return to Val and Terry’s unit. You don’t see the combination of thoughtful owners, wonderful location, and tremendous experience very often.

Val was very prompt, friendly and informative. She handled our booking professionally, and ensured our questions got answered, and that there were no surprises. Terry was our contact after arrival. He made sure things were to our liking, and went out of his way to get us a couple of things we needed for our 6-day stay. For example, we needed a hand mixer and cake pan, and he arranged that for us. Terry is knowledgeable about the Keys, and helped advise us on our restaurant and activity plans. We enjoyed using the kayaks for paddling out to two close- by islands to check out the birds, fish, mangroves, and “upside down jellyfish”. We were going to use the bikes too, but didn’have Time. A previous reviewer wasn’t complimentary about the bikes, but they are kept out of the weather, and are actually in good condition. Our party of 4 was delighted with the little home. We expected something like a double-wide trailer, but it was much nicer than that. It was colorful, with very nice furnishings, such as chorion(?) countertops, like-new range, washer and dryer etc.. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and fresh. Even the patio table and chairs, lawn chairs, and canal- side shower for rinsing off after kayaking or swimming at the beach. Our group of 4 has been vacationing together for 10+ years, and we truly have nothing negative to say about this rental and Val and Terry. There is so much to do in the lower keys, and at this resort, I guarantee you’ll have to leave way before you get to do all of your “picks”. I recommend Bo’s with no reservations...you know what I mean :) Bob, Madison, WI

Had a great stay at this property. The location is ideal for activities on site and access to key west and other keys. The property was clean and very updated with all you would need for a comfortable stay. I want to add a personal note of how wonderful the owner is and understanding of my situation when my rental vehicle broke down on our day of departure, there was no pressure from Valerie to leave the property as we were a bit stuck waiting for our breakdown vehicle. My wife and I vacationed here in January, 2019, with our friends and their son. Everything in the other reviews is correct and the online description is accurate. The five of us have stayed at many vacation rentals and this is as nice as any other. There are a few things that are worth mentioning. The hot water in the master bath is not as hot as in the guest bath so everyone preferred to use the guest bath. There are five bicycles however they are fairly rusty and the gears would not shift on any of them. You won't be taking any long rides. There is no mention of parking fees or cleaning fees in the online description but once I booked the rental online I received an email from the owner saying that there is a parking fee of about $18 per night due at check-in payable in cash and they wanted a $100 cleaning fee at check-out, also payable in cash, in addition to the $500 refundable deposit. Maybe this is common in the Key West area but I have never had to pay for parking at similar vacation rentals. I'd recommend that the owners be up front about these fees and include them in the property description and mention them in the VRBO checkout details. I did receive a full refund of the $500 security deposit however this took 10 days to post to my account while it was charged immediately when I made the reservation 6 weeks in advance. This seems slow to be credited back. Enjoy your stay!

Our stay in Terry and Valerie’s property was completely care free. Within an hour of arrival, Terry was at our door filling us in on the amenities in their place and in the Venture Out community. We enjoyed sitting on the porch most times of the day (a couple of hours around sunset we had no-see-ums), especially in the morning for sunrise. The home is in great condition. We used the Weber Q grill a couple of times, which worked great. We used the bicycles (included with the rental) a lot to ride around the neighborhood. We had a great time using the kayaks (also include in the rental) in the canal and out in the open waters. We had fun in the community pool, which is heated, and is plenty large enough to enjoy even with a crowd. We had fun playing ping pong and pool (billiards) in the recreation center. We look forward to visiting and staying here again in the future.

The owners were phenomenal. Arrived later then what we planned due to traffic. Owner texted to make sure that we were ok. Owner stopped by the next morning to see if we needed anything. Gave us lots of good suggestions for restaurants. Also gave us orientation to the grounds & area. The owners were always just a text or phone call away if we had any questions. The house was beautiful, clean & very relaxing. We had bikes, kayaks & fishing poles available to us. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We would definitely like to stay there again sometime. The place was great and really more than we expected. The recent renovations to the home were fantastic. The new kitchen cabinets and appliances were awesome. The Venture Out Resort staff was friendly and so were the other people at the resort. The use of the bicycles and kayaks were also a great convenience. Terry and Valerie could not have been more gracious hosts. Terry's suggestions on the restaurants and bars was spot on, a true locals experience. We cant wait to come back next year!! What a perfect get-away! The house is perfect for four adults. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed a day at the pool while we took a snorkeling trip at Bahia Honda State Beach. Super cute neighborhood with tons of amenities and very nice people. The house is very welcoming and lots of little extras which were helpful (I’d like to recommend a chip clip though lol). We brought our boat and this lot was perfect for that. Just a few lots from the open water and on the furthest northern street so not as far to have to travel via boat to get out. Most of the canals in the neighborhood are pretty narrow when there’s a boat tied up on both sides but that’s not an issue with where this house is. I also like that across the canal is a different neighborhood so you’re only facing 2 big houses which we never saw anyone at during our whole stay. As I read in another review, there is work being done to one of the houses on the other side of the canal but it didn’t bother us at all. There is work being done to a lot of the houses in Venture Out as well but not in the immediate area of the house and again, no bother. As for Val and her husband, they were both wonderful. Very friendly, great communication, no complaints at all. We would definitely stay here again.

The mobile home was great. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and outside patio right next to saltwater canal. Very clean and well maintained. The community has security guard 24/7 and felt very safe. At your disposal are kayaks and bikes. The Key West craziness is only a 20 min. car ride away. Once home, the craziness is left behind for peaceful night. Highly recommend.

The house was spotlessly clean, well stocked with essentials, and easy to find. Has tv in each room for nighttime or rainy day. W/D is a big plus. The park is clean, has pool hot tub, store, boat area and is gated with security. I had many questions before booking and Val was quick to answer and give answers. We found this property a comfortable and convent place to stay. The distance from Key West was an easy ride from the property. Despite the recent problems from Hurricane Irma, the owners were able to provide and clean and comfortable place to stay. We had a problem with our car and our host Terri really went out of his way to help us get back on the road. The owners are very kind and caring people and I would highly recommend staying at their residence.

The house is well maintained and lacks for nothing on a vacation trip. Everything you may need is available. Our favorite part was the use of the paddle board, kayaks and bikes. Even when we were done adventuring the Keys, we could still come home and do something fun! Key West is a short 30 minute drive and Bahia Honda was a 15 minute drive. This was our first time in The Lower Keys! Bo's Hideaway was the perfect rental for us and our friends! It is located on a canal where you can moor a boat or just jump in to cool off! We took the kayaks and bicycles out several times to see the resort area. The house was a perfect size for four! Valerie wa great at timely communication when we had questions! We had a great time while here 3 nights. We used all the kayaks and paddle board straight off our dock. Loved the quiet mornings on the water. Pool area was very nice and clean and they even have a little store where we purchased some ice cream. We used the bikes to ride to the pool which was nice to have. The only thing bad I could say is that one of them was kind of difficult to ride, chain all rusted so might be time for a new one. Hopefully we can come back again to visit.

Just returned from a great vacation in the Keys. We stayed at this clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated home for 3 nights. Took advantage of the bicycles, riding almost 10 miles on the trail which is very close to the home. Easy day trip to Key West - only 20 miles. The Venture Out resort has many fun things to do. The pool was clean and so relaxing. Everyone was very friendly. We cooked our meals in house in the fully equipped kitchen including condiments in the fridge and seasonings. Easy booking with HomeAway. Valerie, the owner, couldn't have been better with communicating the whole stay. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

My family and I spent a perfect week at this wonderful property. The location right on the canal is gorgeous and my kids loved jumping into the water. We loved watching the boats, the pelicans and the colors in the sky. We went on a fishing trip early in the week and had enough fish to feed us for a few days. We enjoyed morning walks to Morita's cafe to get some cuban coffee. They even prepared delicious sides for us to enjoy with our fish. The resort is wonderful and my kids enjoyed the freedom of being able to bike around. We also played tennis, but we only visited the pool once since we much preferred jumping off our own dock into the water. Having access to the kayaks and paddle board was also really fun. Terry was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I can't thank him enough for his hospitality and I hope that we have a chance to return one day. The neighbors were also so nice. They even helped my dad in his attempts to fish. We had never been to the Keys... thank goodness that we didn't stay in Key West. It was WAY too busy and although it was fun to visit, our rental in Cudjoe was much more our speed and a wonderful place to come home to in the afternoon. Don't think twice about it... this place is PERFECT!

This a lovely place to stay, very safe, clean and peaceful. Our family of four plus our little dog were very comfortable. There are nice amenities in the resort and everybody is extremely friendly. Our kids played tennis and rode bikes. We swam in the ocean water, its separated and feels very safe. The cottage has all you need for a great vacation in the Keys. We rode kayaks, fished and relaxed on the water front porch. It's priced very affordable for the area and season. Thank you Valerie and Terry!

We stayed with friends at Bo's Tropical Get-A-Way for a week and truly enjoyed it. The house was a little bigger than I expected and the split bedrooms were a plus. We used the bikes several times. They're not in primo shape but are great for the flat roads around the resort and for trips around the neighborhood. Everything was very clean, the neighbors were nice and we enjoyed spotting the iguanas across the canal. The pool was heated as promised. A week really wasn't long enough to enjoy the resort amenities (never had time to play bocce ball or pickle ball) but the tennis courts were nice. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't use the kayaks. We planned ahead and booked the ferry from Key West to Dry Tortuga National Park. A fun adventure. Also the Key Deer on Big Deer Island were worth searching out. We spotted manatees when we walked out and looked down from the bridge to No Name Key. I would have loved to stay a few more days.

Bo's Hideaway had everything we needed for our trip to the Florida Keys. It was located only about 30 minutes from Key West and was far enough away to enjoy a peaceful vacation. It is located in the Venture Out Resort, which is a nice, well cared for community of homes and RV sites. You can rent a golf cart to get around the resort to utilize the heated pool, tennis courts, and other amenities, or you can use the bikes that are also provided! Our family used the provided kayaks and paddle board and tried to catch a fish off the canal, you can sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the canal that is right out the door! FYI-when you check in at the gate when you arrive, they need $53.75 in cash or check, no credit cards! That didn't detract from the great time we had! We will be back someday!

We enjoyed staying at Bo's. Val and Terry are great hosts and they even came by to check on us and give us all the tidbits the locals only know. The place is super clean, nicely decorated, well furnished and worked perfect for the 4 of us. (2 adult couples). It's great just sitting out on the deck enjoying the cool sea breeze. The kayak's were good to have and the bicycles got used as well. The Venture Out resort was going thru a re-pave, so the roads were patchy, but looks like that's going to be on the mend very soon. The pool is sparkling clean and the grounds are very tidy. They have a store with just about everything and a pancake B-fast on Saturday mornings. There were a lot more amenities that we didn't take advantage of. BYOB, we only wish we had a boat with us to tie up to the back, then we could be in the Atlantic fishing within minutes. We highly recommend The Square Grouper for a nice seafood dinner, a bit pricey and you are sure to wait a long time to be seated. Over 1.5 hrs and they don't take reservations. Forget Starbucks and ride a bike over to Mojita's for some Cafe con Leche and a pastry or tasty authentic Cuban food. Fish restaurant down on Sutherlands Key also had excellent dining and was much more reasonable than The Square Grouper and without the wait. We would definately come back here when we visit the keys again.

Valerie's property was everything we had hoped for. Two buddies and I spent a week fishing, snorkeling and boating. The accommodations were as described. The pullout sofa in the living area was very comfortable...I know, I gave the two bedrooms to my buds. All imaginable activities are nearby: Atlantic side (Hawk Channel and the reef); Gulf side (all the backcountry) via Kemp Channel, as well as the wonders (or craziness) of Key West. The community pool and hot tub were great. Kayaks, bikes, seawall dockage, and views of Kemp Channel over to Summerland Key were great. Valerie is a gracious and attentive host. My buds were thrilled You won't be disappointed!

We ended up not using the bikes or kayaks but had a great time just exploring the keys. It was a perfect location as it was located so close to Key West and Marathon. There was lots to do between the 2 towns. We especially enjoyed the tour of the turtle hospital in Marathon. And of course Key West had so much to offer with museums, restaurants and just people watching. Valerie was always easy to contact and very responsive. From 2 couples on a road trip.

We came for beauty, weather, boating, snorkeling, fishing, and fun and had a GREAT time. Valerie was a terrific host and made sure we had everything we needed. She was just a quick text or call away and made us feel very welcome. The unit was light and cheery with that island ambience we were looking for. The kitchen, bedrooms,and bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Great sunrise view and perfect docking for our boat. In our trips offshore we saw amazing marine life including dolphins, a sea turtle, and even a swordfish! Short drive to Key West allowed us to experience the nightlife of Mallory Square and a beautiful sunset. The resort is a quiet, older mobile home resort which is well-maintained and has some great features including excellent boat ramp, swim lagoon, large pool, and well-stocked mini-mart with ethanol-free gas for the boat. The location is perfect for visiting other Keys, with Key West being only a half an hour away. Bo's was equipped with anything you could possibly need to make your vacation perfect. The bed was comfortable, the living room furniture was very comfortable and the entire place was extremely comfy cozy. We tried our hand at fishing off the deck with the fishing poles provided, and had a great time even though we didn't catch anything. Our Hosts, Terry and Val, were the difference between a good vacation and a great vacation. 2 adults and 4 teenage girls, and we had plenty of space and fun. the kayaks, paddle board and bikes were well used, as was the pool, hot tub and beach. Val helped with getting the best boat and capt, in the Keys (Compass Rose and Capt. Mike) and recommended the Dolphin research center which we are now members of and the kids had a blast swimming with the Dolphins. Terry listed the restaurants and tricks to getting around Key west. We sampled many beaches and met many friendly locals, watched the Blue Angles practice in the sky, and the sunset from Mallory Square. No one wanted to go home. We had a great time staying at Bo's Tropical Getaway. The owners were welcoming and attentive, and we found everything we needed for cooking a few meals as well as enjoying the roomy living room and relaxing on the deck with its view over the water. We were two couples traveling, and the layout was great, with each bedroom having its own bath en suite or nearby. The place is thoughtfully maintained, with bicycles and kayaks, good bedding and beds, lots of towels, cookware, and even a new stove. I was surprised by how densely packed and populated the resort itself is, but the unit is well situated for privacy and quiet. We loved going to Bahia Honda state park and to Key West, and the owners gave excellent advice on local restaurants and activities. It's hard to think of anything they could do better!

We had a great stay at Bo's Tropical Get-a-way. We were only there a couple nights but it was perfect for what we wanted. We loved the kayaks and easy access to the water. My wife enjoyed sitting on the beach chairs overlooking the canal and the nearby bay. The bikes are great for getting around the property and we enjoyed the Saturday morning pancake breakfast! Stayed for a week and had a great time. Bo's was a great place to stay with great access to either the Atlantic side or the Gulf side. Good dock with padded posts so you don't have to worry about your boat banging on hard wood or concrete. Bo's was well equipped for a comfortable stay. The marina right at Venture Out has fuel, bait, good ramp, and fresh water wash down for when you pull out. This is great for the long ride home not have the salt eating away at the trailer and boat. Can't say enough. The kids said it was one of the best vacations we have had. (And they have plenty to compare too.) Having the kayaks and paddleboard were a lot of fun as well. We are already looking at when we can return next year. I would highly recommend this rental.

This was our second time staying at Bo's tropical get a way with our children and we had a wonderful time. venture out resort is a great place to stay with children. The house is very clean and right on the canal. My favorite is waking up and watching the sunrise on the front porch overlooking the bay and taking the boat out for a sunset cruise. We docked our boat there and jumped in to go fishing, snorkeling or find an island to relax in the back country of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort is centrally located and it's not far from one of the top 10 best snorkeling/diving reefs in the world (looe key). My daughter loved snorkeling and saw her first giant grouper! The resort is less than 30 minutes away from key west. It is also minutes away from great local restaurants for fresh seafood and landmarks like no name pub is just 10 minutes away. My girls loved seeing the key deer as you drive up to No Name Pub. This will definitely be one of our vacation spots for years to come. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

This place was an ideal location for outdoor activities. We are fishing and boating people and could not have found a better place to keep the boat right out the front door. Fish all day and pull up to the front and have a grill to enjoy the days catch. The place was well maintained and well managed. The unit was just as described but a little dated. This was not an issue at all because the main reason to be there was for the wonderful location. Valerie was lovely and had everything as she had described it would be. We would definitely come back because of the perfect location. Would highly recommend this to others. Go and enjoy.

My husband and I stayed at Bo's for a week in March 2013. This rental property was exceptionally clean as well as bright, cheery, and very well supplied with everything we wanted and needed. It is just as described - even better! It's in a great location, only a short drive to Key West and close to Bahia Honda Beach which we visited several days and saw live conch while snorkeling. The kayaks were a blast and the pool and whirlpool were very clean and well maintained! Valerie is absolutely the most helpful manager I have ever met - she gave us lots of tips on great places to eat, fishing charters, snorkeling, sightseeing, etc. On our second day there, she came paddling up on one of the kayaks after a day of lobster fishing and GAVE us three fresh, straight from the sea lobsters. We cooked them on the grill (that worked like a charm) that night - eating doesn't get any better than that! However, for restaurants "The Square Grouper" is amazing!! There is so much to do in the Keys - we didn't have nearly enough time to do everything we wanted to. We hope to be able to visit again and will definitely stay at Bo's Tropical Get-a-Way!!

My fiance and I had time for a quick trip to the Keys and luckily discovered Bo's while conducting last minute searches for places to stay. The place was perfect for us! The photographs were accurate and the view and location is absolutely breathtaking! The property was very clean and well-maintaned and Valerie was extremely accomodating! Bo's is not far from the Keys and has a wonderful pool, hot tub and mini beach as well. Everyone we met at the resort was extremely friendly. This was my first time to stay in the Keys and my first time kayaking...we will definitely be back to Bo's and next time we will be bringing the boat for an extended stay!
