The back deck and pool were really great for relaxing in the morning drinking coffee or having wine at the end of the evening. The host was very responsive. Three senior couples who love to travel together just checked another dream location off our list. The Contented Crane was our home base for the trip & fit our needs perfectly. It was centrally located & only a short walk to Duval Street. Mobility was a bit of a challenge for the senior group but renting a golf cart solved the problem. It was an exciting & memorable trip for all!

We had a great time staying at the The Contented Crane. The home was beautiful, well decorated with a great layout and nice pool. Also, it was within walking distance to wherever we wanted to go. It's makes Key West super accessible, easy and enjoyable. We did have some issues with check-out as we paid for a late check-out, and the cleaning people woke us up before checkout and then came again before late checkout time.

Gorgeous property! Had a wonderful time in the perfectly situated location, close to everything and far enough from party noise! Some ideas and constructive feedback- 1. Coasters would be good. 2. Plastic glasses for the pool area are a must. 3. Would be helpful to have one more comfortable chair in the living space. 4. Main floor bedroom bed are uncomfortable mattresses and clearly wrapped in plastic and appear to be suited for children, which were not comfortable for adults. 5. Main bedroom bathroom has a disco bulb over right side sink, which we requested to be replaced but was not replaced during our stay. Overall, extremely pleased and would rent again from Last Key Realty. Nice staff.

Our group of 5 adults found the property plenty spacious and extremely accommodating. The townhouse feels much larger than its 1,600 square feet, with a beautiful kitchen, ample living room and dining room seating for 6, and lots of light and high ceilings throughout. The property features 4 twin beds and one king, great for groups of adults or children who are not couples. Though the back yard is not spacious, it does have its own pool which the property manager will heat upon request. The location is a few blocks from Duval, close to Better Than Sex (as must-visit) and there is a little bodega less than a block away for snacks and drinks. The folks from Last Key, the property manager, were excellent to work with.

The property is very well maintained and the property managers were super friendly & accommodating. The house is just a short walk to EVERYTHING. Beds were comfortable with plenty of space for 6 adults + 2 extra for the pullout couch. Kitchen was well stocked with the little extras that you hate to buy for just 1 or 2 meals. My only suggestion would be to have bikes on property. We rented them but felt at that price point, bikes should have been available. Otherwise our stay was perfect!

This house was great for my group of friends, but was a little smaller than anticipated. The listing says it sleeps 8, and my group of 8 did in fact fit, but it was a bit of a squeeze as half of us were sharing beds. If you're okay with that, it's fine for 8. I would say it is ideal for 3 couples, 4 if everyone is very friendly. Pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but still really cool to have your own little private pool and lounging area in the back. It's a 7-ish minute walk to Duval street, but if you're looking to be out around the bars on the west side of Duval Street, it's more like 15-17 minutes to your destination on foot.

We try to clearly convey the size of this property (and pool) in our description by stating that it is a 3 bedroom with a pull out sofa. We agree, it is ideal for 3 couples! But if you're bringing with some extra guests, the queen sleeper sofa in the living room sure comes in handy.

This was a nice property in Old town.Full size town home. Short walk to Duval or the beach. Great that each room had its own bathroom. Only has one parking space and is a tight fit at times. Monique communicated quickly with check in and check out. When one balcony door was stuck the problem was corrected very quickly. Overall great place to relax and enjoy Key West.

Me and (7) other 30-something year olds had a great stay. Walking distance to everything and a convenience store three doors down helped make our stay easy and always comfortable. Be sure to keep the noise down on the back deck and in the pool after 11pm (There are year-round residents close by). Understandable. We were visited by a police officer the very first night due to a noise complaint but managed to avoid any further complaints. The pool, albeit small, is deep and it comfortably held 8 of us with drinks in hand. Enjoy!!

This was an amazing property. The woman who took care of us, Monique, called me a few days before to go over everything. Her voice was so welcoming that I felt like we were best friends right off the bat. She was so responsive and accommodating. She then met us at the property upon arrival to show us around. I had told her it was my friend's birthday and she surprised us with a balloon, birthday sign, 2 bottles of champagne and orange juice for mimosas, and a key lime pie complete with happy birthday candles. It was so sweet. She took care of everything we needed and even arranged for our bags to be picked up on our last day so we wouldn't have to carry them around before our flight. The property was so clean, amazing, and in a great location. I would recommend to anyone!

Spent 4 days with family and couldnt have been better experience. This property is nicely decorated and well appointed, pool was awesome for a relaxing dip after a long day walking or first thing before venturing out. Cooked on the grill. The only cons I could think of is location in comparison to the busiest bars in town. You are one block from Duval but unfortunately it’s the other side. Wasn’t a bad walk. Everything else was immaculate!

The property was beautiful, just as shown in the photos. It was the perfect spot for our group of girls. Also a lovely respite from the sun, and everything worked like clock work. Keith was fantastic! He called us before we arrived and was only a phone call away throughout our stay. He even dropped off a bottle of prosecco and a key lime pie to help us celebrate our bachelorette!! All in all, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend Contented Crane and Last Key Rentals. Wish we could go back tomorrow!!!

This place is better looking in person than the photos! It's an excellent location (couple blocks off Duval), quite area, parking in the back and the place is immaculate. The condo has all the high end details you would expect in a personal residence...high ceilings, large crown molding throughout, Viking appliances, granite countertops, hardwood floors, etc. And the property owners as very attentive you making your stay amazing. This will be the only place I stay when I return.

The whole home was perfect. Beautifully decorated, close to the action of Duvall street, private, well-appointed. We were thrilled! We are a group of 6 women and can be very picky. The 4 nights we stayed here were really great. We had parking for our van and a very nice home, just a few blocks from downtown. This was mostly a business trip, (WIFI was super fast BTW) but we will definitely be back again for a relaxing vacation. Last Key provided excellent customer service before and during and after our stay. Lori was so kind as to return a pair of prescription sunglasses to my wife, that we had left behind. We will certainly use them on future trips to Key West.

I really loved staying at this home with my lady friends. Lori greeted us with a warm smile and some great information on what we could do in Key West and the best places to eat and drink. We all had plenty of space to wind down and relax. This house is much larger than it looks from the outside. The private bathroom for every bedroom was a real plus for us. Our family enjoyed this home very much! The inside and outside was spotless and the location was so convenient! We all were very comfortable with having our own bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had everything imaginable to prepare some of our own meals. We really enjoyed eating at Conch Republic Seafood Company, Latitudes and Bo's Fishwagon as well. Lori made planning our vacation and our stay pure perfection! She was always available to answer questions for us and to recommend the "must do" things on the island. We loved the Butterfly Conservatory and Latitudes for lunch! I suggest Last Key and Lori to anyone looking for a perfect tropical vacation in Key West!!! We will certainly be back to stay with you again.

This property was fabulous. My husband and I and 2 other couples stayed here for a week. The property was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Great kitchen appliances for the cooks in the group! Every room had it's own king bed, bathroom and TV. We all felt it was in a perfect location. Within walking distance to Duval, great restaurants and entertainment. We spent several nights in grilling fresh seafood bought at a local market and preparing meals, we had everything we needed. We spent every afternoon sitting and relaxing by the pool. We were also extremely impressed with the attention that Lori, our guest services coordinator, gave us. She worked very hard to make sure that we had everything we needed, that everything was to our liking and that we had no questions unanswered. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to anyone. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect week.

We we looking for a place to rent, for a short trip to Key West. This house fit the bill entirely. The location is perfect and it has off street parking. This is a huge benefit, if you have ever been to Key West. We have rented before from other companies, but this was the best one yet. We could walk downtown easily and leave our car behind. I would definitely rent this house again.

This town house has such a great location. We biked all over downtown and Duval Street, then came home to enjoy the peace and quiet of this home. Our trip was too short to fit in all of the things we had planned. We will be returning next year for a longer stay. We plan to book this place or the one next door, which we came to find out is managed by Lori at Last Key Realty too.

We only had a few days in Key West and this house had it all. Close to downtown and Duval Street. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was a good place to relax. Our group needed some sun and warm weather. We got it all at this home. Lori met us and immediately made us feel like locals. We went to some great restaurants and bars. The pool was warm and the sun was hot! We even tried our hand at cooking some local seafood at home. There was plenty of room for the six of us that rented this beautiful 3 bedroom home. The property is fully equipped, nicely maintained, clean and comfortably decorated. Lori Bailey, our Guest Services Coordinator was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable about the area. She along with Last Key Realty's Concierge Services were wonderful in recommending restaurants and answered any questions we had. They arranged for our bicycle rental delivery and pick up for the four days that we stayed and because of the great location of the home, we were able to ride to the beaches, restaurants and shopping during the day. We enjoyed the beach and lunch at the cafe at Southernmost Point, Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, the sunset at Mallory Square with live music and great entertainment from professional street performers. Dinner at Antonia's on Duval was one of our favorites. Dinner outside overlooking the water at The Hot Tin Roof after having cocktails and watching the sunset from Sunset Pier was great. Loved the lobster omelet and the eggs benedict with steak and lobster at Blue Heaven in Bahama Village while we listened to the live Caribbean music. The pizza, homemade pasta and service at The Onlywood Pizzeria and Trattoria on Duval was great. A friend recommended the all-dessert restaurant, Better Than Sex on Truman @ Simonton which was cute and the desserts were big enough to share. Overall I highly recommend this property, Lori Bailey and Last Key Realty when planning a visit to Key West! Looking forward to coming back!

We ( 3 couples ) stayed here in February ,the house was very clean and well kept . The hose is in great location within walking distance to Duval St. And many local sites. We had a great time staying in this home. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The large grill was a big bonus and the pool, although a little small, worked fine for us. Lori was helpful and answered all of our questions. We were very close to Duval Street, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. We will definitely come back again soon.

Stayed here at the Contented Crane and in the home next door - The Smiling Ibis recently with some friends. It was a great trip! The houses were beautiful, comfortable, and easy to relax in at the end of a long day out exploring the town. They are centrally located, and you can get anywhere you'd want to be with a short bike ride. The Property Manager, Lori, was amazing as well! She was incredibly helpful and very easy to get in touch with whenever I needed her. She met us at the houses as soon as we arrived, told us everything we needed to know about the properties, and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, bars, shopping. She even called to reserve bikes for our stay. I can't imagine anyone being more helpful. If your looking to spend some time in key west I highly recommend you stay at these homes.
