My friends and I loved staying here! The space was clean, easy to find, well-located, and better in person than the pictures. Management was easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and during the trip. I would recommend the space!

While searching for where we'd stay on the vacation, this property stood out for a few reasons. Price was good, location was incredible and the size was ideal. The communication with the property manager started weeks ahead of our arrival which was new and welcomed. There were a number of questions they had which made our stay even better. However, after checking in, our expectations were exceeded. Not only were we 2 blocks from Duvall, but it's a 3 block walk to the Hemingway property, 2 blocks to the lighthouse, and 4 blocks to the Southern Most Point. Due to this amazing location, we hardly had to drive at all. The property included both a perk pot and Keurig coffee options and a wonderful assortment of dishes, pots and pans, and caserole dishes. We will definitely be back!

Excellent experience using this Airbnb! The location could not be any better for exploring downtown Key West and the hosts are incredibly responsive and willing to help out with literally ANYTHING you could need. We had an amazing stay at Suzy's Parrot Perch with Last Key Realty! From the moment we booked, we were contacted by our wonderful host, Christian, and soon after, their complimentary concierge service reached out to us. The place was perfect for our family of four. Our kids loved the unique layout and design, especially the two porches. The home had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer, which were so convenient for our stay in Key West. The location was perfect—just a short walk or bike ride to the water and situated on the quieter side of Duval Street. We also appreciated the book full of local recommendations provided for us. Christian was in constant contact with us, extremely helpful, and very responsive to any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again and will always look for properties with Last Key Realty in the future. Highly recommend!

Suzy's Parrot Perch is the perfect place for your weekend getaway - it's in a great part of town and walkable to some of the best restaurants on the island. Our host, Christian, was super helpful, always responsive, and probably one of the best communcators I've recently worked with. We absolutely loved our weeklong stay at our cozy cottage! It was just far enough from Duval - away from foot traffic - yet close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. It really was a fantastic week and our host was very responsive and proactive communicating with us before, during and after our stay.

A winter get-away from cold dreary weather led us to this darling spot on an inconspicuous corner just off the beaten path in sunny, warm Key West for our first visit. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the friendliest associate waiting for us who thoroughly explained the space, the map, activities—everything. Our first impression walking in the condo was WOW! It’s SO BRIGHT and cheerful. It looked exactly like the photos, but what you can’t tell by the pictures is how absolutely CLEAN the place is. Truly remarkable and noteworthy. We’d flown directly into EYW or else we would’ve been more prepared to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. Instead we ate out and aside from take-out one PM after a sunset sail, we only used the kitchen to make coffee and store some cold drinks. But if you’re wanting to cook, you’ll be set there. The place is so stinking cute—with the bright colors, the local art on the walls, a HUGE TV that provided music for us, and quirky wall angles. I used the smaller bedroom as my closet and dressing area; it has great natural light and a mirror for applying makeup and hairstyling. The shower is large and bright. Again, I can’t overstate how clean the condo was, and such fluffy, absorbent towels. Having a stackable washer/drier was an added bonus for a mid-stay load so as not to return home with dirty laundry. Once we got our bearings, we realized how wonderful the location was—so walkable to just about everywhere. Perfect for a quiet couple.

This property was perfect for 4 adults. It is located up a set of steep stairs that can be slippery with the rain and there is no dedicated parking but no car is needed. This property is in the heart of where you want to be in Key West and everything is very walkable. I felt safe and secure, the unit was very clean and comfortable and the concierge/host was beyond attentive and wonderful. I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again!

Perfect rental property for our family of 3 (mom, dad & 14yr old). The neighborhood was very quiet at night. We arrived 4 hrs prior to check-in (couldn’t get early check-in) and we were able to store our luggage in a locked office until our unit was ready. Christian was an excellent host/concierge, very communicative and helpful. We did not rent a car, and I am glad we didn’t. I was given parking instructions but there is not a designated parking space here. We used Uber and rented bicycles which worked out great for us. The place was clean, had everything we needed and was just as it appeared in photos. We would definitely stay again.

The unit is located within walking distance of the Southern Most Point, Hemingway House, Duval street, Butterfly Conservatory, and much more. There’s a free Duval loop shuttle stop (stop #9) right across the street from the unit. The unit was well furnished and clean. We did not hear our downstairs neighbors at all. Christian, our host contact, did a fabulous job making sure everything was ok. We would definitely stay here again

This was a cute condo and the perfect location for us. We visited Key West for Christmas. We arrived early and was able to access the condo earlier than expected, which was great. The owner even had a Keylime pie in the fridge for us. We rented a golf cart for transportation but parking can be tedious in Key West. We thought there would be a parking spot, but there was not. We were lucky to find parking close by. The condo was updated and comfy. The check out process was easy. We would stay at Susie’s Partot perch again!

Had a fantastic time in Key West and a great stay at Suzy’s Parrot Perch! The place was just as pictured and was a perfect location for us on our first time in the area. Only a block off Duval, but on the “quiet end”. Easily walkable to everything we wanted to do in Old Town (we did drive to the beach). Samantha kept in touch both before and during our stay and was super helpful with lots of great suggestions and info about things to do & places to eat. The apartment itself met our needs - comfortable beds & living space. Only one bathroom, but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. Nice to have a fridge and anything else we needed so that we could focus on relaxing and enjoying the amazing weather. The place did not have dedicated parking, but we were able to find street parking nearby without much trouble. Only other suggestion would be for light sleepers to bring earplugs. The roosters of key west are loud, and merciless in the early morning!! Thanks Samantha for a great stay! We will be back!

We loved our location, we could walk or bike virtually everywhere we wanted to go. We rented bikes for the week and it was so easy to get around. Place was clean, hosts were accessible and being a few blocks from duval made us feel like we were at the fun center while being able to enjoy a little quiet. I’d stay here again!

We had a great time in Key West. The location of this property was perfect for us. Apartment is nicely appointed. Wish we had a larger 2nd Bedroom but we knew what we were getting when we booked so no complaints. Glad to sacrifice the larger 2nd Bed for the location. Check in was a breeze management team was exceptional in their communication and they even left us a key-lime pie in the fridge. Would definitely recommend.

Suzy’s Parrot Perch was an excellent place to stay. Even though a hurricane came through a few days before we arrived everything was pretty much cleaned up and the property was clean and amazing. The location is great for walking to all area attractions on Duval St, Ft Zachary, Mallory Square, Hemingway House, Butterfly Conservatory and pretty much everything. We walked everywhere. It was stocked with all the essentials including a delicious Key Lime pie in the refrigerator!!

Great value this time of year! Perfect location 1 block off Duval, and 4 blocks to Southernmost point and all the sandy beaches! One beautiful King suite with a porch, and a comfortable second bedroom with a Full bed. Very nice kitchen, with everything you need, washer and dryer, they also supplied garbage bags, paper towels,laundry and dishsoap. Key West does Instacart, which we did for food delivery. Perfect for 4 adults and a baby! Our property owners were "Last Key Resort" which were very responsive if you called them directly, our concierge only responded quickly after we checked in, she did not respond to pre visit questions in a timely matter. It was a very nice place though

Beds wonderfully comfy, AC works great, shower super hot (if you like that and we do); location terrific, wifi works great; kitchen perfect for coffee, etc. Nice touches - towels and umbrella, chairs on little lanai, and key lime pie waiting for us in fridge.

This is hands down the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in and I’m a frequent stayer at these kinds of places. Best location, beds, shower, air conditioning and heat (which we needed for the cold spell, best cleaning, and best attention to details. The management company that handles this rental is incredible, with concierge, someone for check-in, reservation help and more. They are called Last Key Realty and I will certainly use them again. The place is quirky but fits perfectly into the ambience of Old Town Key West.

The Airbnb was perfect. Very quaint, great location, extra amenities for your comfort. Parking could have been a problem but the location is so good that once we parked we didn't move the car and walked just about everywhere or took an Uber.

Suzys Parrot Perch is ideally located near bars, restaurants, and landmarks. The living room is a very comfortable space to escape the heat and relax after a long day. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. I used the concierge service to book our excursion and jeep rental. It was super helpful. When I called the property manager to inquire about a cooler, she brought one right over so we could use the next day for our outing. We packed very light so the washer and dryer was a huge plus.

The property was well maintained and centrally located. It was perfect for our needs. The concierge service was wonderful and the people at Last Key Realty were very helpful and friendly. The one caution is that there is no parking so you have to be prepared to park on the street. We were able to find a spot around the corner but I didn't move my car for the entire stay for fear of having to drive around looking for a spot. This wasn't a problem since we rented bikes to go to the beach and the marina and there were plenty of excellent restaurants walking distance from the apartment.

Two great things about this place are the location and the coziness of it.
The location is perfect for a variety of interests. It’s close to museums, Duval street with restaurants and stores and the beach. It’s still far away from the action to provide a quiet environment.
The place itself is not large but designed in a way to make it very cozy and comfortable. Our family loved having some living room space to spend some time together in between outings to explore the area.
The hosts were very attentive and provided clear instructions for check in and check out. There is information in the house on everything on the island: shopping, eating and sightseeing.

As for the place- it's beautiful. The perfect combination of luxury and cozy. There was just enough room for our family of four. Everyone loved the space. We cooked almost all of our meals here and it had everything we needed. It's so close to shops and sights yet quiet too- the location was perfect! We rented bikes one day and rode all around the island- you don't need your car if you are staying downtown as you can either walk or bike wherever you'd like to go. We would definitely stay here again. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Very easy to find and Samantha our hostess was there waiting on us when we arrived. Check-in was easy and painless. Living area was clean & spacious. We had 5 adults in our party. Suzy's Parrot Perch was excellent! Very clean, comfortable, beautiful & fully stocked kitchen (without all the miscellaneous crap that previous renters have left!) and all the amenities you could ask for. The location is perfect for anyone that wants to explore Key West, being only 1 block off of Duval St, but also on Whitehead which takes you directly to Southernmost Point in a few blocks and past Hemmingway House, etc to Mallory Square the opposite way. You can't ask for a more perfect location and found it was not necessary to rent bike, cart, etc if you don't mind walking. Front and back desks are great for outdoor relaxing and fun to people watch. It was great to have a washer/dryer to go home with clean clothes, also - hairdryer in bathroom. Check-in was a breeze and VERY informative for first-timers to Key West. Check-out was equally efficient and our bags were even held for late departure, which was AWESOME! Can't say enough positive about this rental and the property management, we would certainly rent this same property the next time in Key West!

This was our first time in Key West and happily landed at Suzy's Parrot Perch, managed by Last Key resort.
This apartment is ideally located to walk to the Lighthouse, Hemingway's House, the Southernmost Point, Duval Street (with many galleries, cafes and excellent restaurants) and Mallory Square. It is also on the Duval Loop, a free bus shuttle that takes passengers around the happening side of the island. We arrived at Key West from the ferry; the Duval Loop shuttle stop is steps from the ferry, allowing one to navigate to Suzy's Parrot Perch and other points without needing a car. We did rent an electric car for one day so we could see the other side of the island and enjoy an afternoon at Zachary Taylor State Park. (A car and bike rental business is just one block from the apartment). Because Suzy's Parrot Perch does not have a dedicated parking space and on-street parking is mostly residents-only, (the parking officials take their job seriously on this island) I recommend either relying on the Duval Loop shuttle, renting bikes or walking. Last Key even provided umbrellas in the apartment, so for the one rainy day we experienced, we were prepared.
Although the apartment was only one block off Duval Street, the street this apartment is on is pretty quiet, save for the occasional loud motorcycle (is there any neighborhood on the planet one can escape from that form of auditory assault? One guy in particular had nothing better to do, apparently, than to drive his ear-rattling three-wheeled contraption-passing-as-transportation up and down various streets in the neighborhood at all hours of the day and night. For other visitors' sake, I hope this guy isn't a local. I wonder if Key West can enforce a loud engine ordinance for the sake of their tourist industry? )
We enjoyed watching a family of chickens (in particular a beautiful rooster, his hen and their 7 newly-hatched chicks) from the balcony. Yes, there are chickens in Key West and I was amazed at how well-behaved Key West chickens are; not at all like the Canadian Geese roaming the parks here in Indiana, where you have to watch where you walk on the sidewalks. The roosters do crow early in the morning, but we weren't bothered by that at all as they're the ones who are quiet starting at dusk! (See note about loud motorcycles above).
For convenience, amenities, cleanliness and comfort, I highly recommend this rental.

While parking can be a bit tricky in Key West, a car is not necessary from this location. Everything is within walking distance from your front door or take the Duval Loop, which will pick you up right out front.

We normally are hotel people, we like the full service aspect and all that comes with it. When we last stayed in Key West we stayed at the Casa Marina which has a great resort but the Parrot Perch worked out better! The place is small but worked out perfectly for the three of us. It is nicely furnished, clean and has a full kitchen with a decent living space. The location could not be better, it is one block off Duval St so you can be a part of that madness or not......we chose not though it's not that crazy during the day. We were in walking distance of pretty much everything. the property management company and concierge sealed the deal for me and they came through with fine colors. We will definitely be using this place again.

Our family (including 2 college age sons) loved Suzy's Parrot Perch! The front and back porches were wonderful to sit and relax on and the location was fantastic. We went on walks every morning to the quieter area away from Duvall, but also could walk when we wanted to along Duvall and all the way to Mallory Square (or catch the Duval Loop Free bus just 1/2 block away). We were just blocks from the Southern Most Point also. The location couldn't be better! The condo was charmingly decorated and very clean. The kitchen had every supply you would need and all the basics were available from dishwasher detergent, to coffee filters. We loved our stay at Suzy's Parrot Perch!

Great location a block off Duval street and about 5 blocks from the Southernmost point. The unit was the perfect size for our group of 5 (4 adults and 1 child). The concierge service was very generous and friendly, even leaving a few nice welcome treats for our stay which was for my fathers 70th birthday. The rooms are as pictured and the balcony is a nice spot to unwind and watch locals & tourists passing by. The only negatives we experienced were around parking. Most of the spots in the area are designated residents only and the night we arrived there were a few locals showing interest in our car so just be sure not to leave any valuables in you car and you will be fine. We moved it 3 blocks away to a more well lit street and didn't move it until we checked out with no issue. All in all had a great experience and felt right at home during our stay. Definitely recommend this unit for those considering a retreat to the heart of Key West.

Our liaison, Amanda was welcoming and set our place up with welcome gifts and detailed informational packets and books on Key West. There were no questions left unanswered. Suzy's Parrot Perch was perfect for our 5 day stay in Key West. There were 4 of us and the space was great for what we needed as we didn't spend much time there. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony was a great place to hang out and have coffee in the morning or smoke a cigar in the evening. The check in/out process with Keith was simple. We were most impressed when Keith offered to meet us at the airport with our bags. We had to check out at 11 but our flight didn't leave until 2. Talk about premium service!

As I had no idea the implications of 'Duval' street on our quarters and the reviews all over the map as to whether to stay on it or as far from it as possible, I think we ended up perfectly situated for our needs. The unit had a big king bed in one room and a quaint double in the other. They maximized every inch of the condo and while cozy, it certainly was not cramped. It was spotless and functioned as was expected. The laundry facilities are always great to have while on vacation. Caryn from the management company was attentive and went the extra length to bring my mom a Key Lime Pie and some bubbly in celebration of her 80th birthday! Very happy with every part of our trip.

Conveniently located, well furnished with a streetside deck in the front and a shady deck in the back (our favorite for morning coffee), this was a great place to stay. We hit Winn-Dixie on the way in so we wouldn't have to spend all our money on eating out and could save it for the watersports we love. Full kitchen and washer and dryer made it very convenient. We all packed way too many clothes! Great family bonding trip. I highly recommend Suzy's, although you may want to bring ear plugs or a sound machine if you're a light sleeper. The roosters start up about 5:30 a.m. We went just before high season and never had trouble finding a place to park down Virginia St.

We had a wonderful stay at this house, the location was perfect for us adults and also for the kids. We will definitely book it again. Close enough for the night life and to the beaches. Large enough for the 4 of us. We rented scooter to go everywhere but it was close enough to the butterfly conservatory, lighthouse,beaches, and Hemingway house that you could easily walk. Strongly suggest you take the train tour of key west. It was a great history lesson. The property manager was awesome, she met us there and walked us through all the services offered. Just a phone call away if needed.

This property far exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Our concierge Caryn was pleasant and communicated with us every step of the way. The location is awful quiet for being just steps away from Duval Street too. Being that we were down in mid-August, I thought for sure we would have issues with the AC unit, but alas, no issue whatsoever. In fact, I did not have to bother Caryn once during our entire stay. The only thing that could have made the stay better, would have been at least 1 off street parking place. Granted, we only moved the car once and walked everywhere else. All in all, great place to stay in Key West.

This was exactly as depicted. Very clean and convenient location. Perfect for the two of us, might be tight for a larger group. Krystal was great, welcomed us and gave us a good orientation. She was also quick to respond and help us when we accidentally locked ourselves out (thanks again). We grilled twice and the washer/dryer was nice to have - pack light, you can launder as needed. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed all KW has to offer. Sunsets, entertainment, reasonable restaurants, and warm temps. Even got "snowed in" in KW and had to spend an extra night because of weather up north. Unfortunately, Suzy's was not available and we had to transfer to a B&B for a night. We even got used to the roosters by the second day! Awesome vacation.

We booked this property somewhat late in the game, and overall found it to be more than acceptable. Caryn from the Last Key Realty group was very helpful. The second bedroom is quite small and would be uncomfortable for 2 larger or taller people. Overall, the place was clean and well equipped. The location was great withing walking distance (a block) to Duval St., the Southernmost Point, and Ft. Taylor beach.

We cannot say enough about this place! It was clean, newly rennovated, close promiximity to Duval and other must see places! Krystal (property manager) was always available to answer any questions we had. Latitudes restaurant on Sunset Key is a must eat at restaurant. It is a little pricy, but the food and atmosphere were well worth the price. Each one of us savored every bite of our meals. The Southernmost Pointe Cafe offered an out of this world breakfast! Thick homemade bread was to die for! Suzy's Parrot Perch was perfectly located! Only blocks from the Hemmingway house, the lighthouse, Margaritaville and Sloppy Joe's! We walked everywhere, finding new places to explore every day! We look forward to renting this place again and again!

I have to tell you this place was awesome for our trip. My wife and I took my sister-in-law for her first trip to Key West - having the two separate bedrooms along with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and living room with flat screen made it more like home. We never felt cramped like many rooms/hotels do and could stretch out after walking Key West all day at the Lobster Festival. Would highly recommend this place but what made it even better was the service from Krystal at Last Key Realty - want a jet ski trip, snorkeling, restaurant - no problem she would set it up and get you the confirmation right away. She also had recommendations for fishing/lobster trips - we will take advantage of those next trip. Overall excellent trip and service!

"Suzy's Parrot Perch" is a great home base for a first time in Key West. Being walking distance to most major attractions is a real perk for those experiencing the island for the first time. How wonderful to hear you were able to enjoy Lobster Fest from the easy location of this home! The layout of the two bedrooms with the kitchen and washer/dryer all help to make your stay more comfortable between adventures. Krystal's recommendations are always a perk - ask her about her "Guide to Key West Happy Hour" which she has become famous for with our guests.

Suzy's Parrot Perch was the PERFECT Key West get-away. Check in was extremely easy, we texted Krystal at MM20 to let her know we were close and she was there to help us find an interim parking spot. Parking had us a little bit worried, but we easily got a spot right in front of the property (twice!). Krystal helped us out with booking our activities and we got a 10% discount on them. I'd recommend doing a history tour or ghost tour first day or so then you can go spend more time at the sites you learn about throughout the week. The house itself felt like home and the amenities were perfect for us! Bicycles are a must, and we used bike parking across the street and never had a worry about theft. The house is located less than a block from Duval, and a quick ride away from Southernmost Point and Hemingway's House. We rode all over the island and found the location of the house to be perfect for our needs. The owners had just updated the furniture and reoriented the living room area. We found the layout to be excellent and user friendly. We cooked several meals out on the grill including some thick steaks we brought with us from Indiana. If you rent this property, you won't be disappointed by either the house or the awesome staff of Last Key Realty!

We think we hit the JACKPOT with this great review!! Thumbs up for choosing to bike around the island - Suzy's Parrot Perch is the perfect location for biking and there is easy bike storage just outside. The mention that the owners just updated the furniture is dead on - we are working to post photos as soon as possible of the new furnishings that have given Suzy's Parrot Perch a lovely tropical boost. Finally, Krystal & The Last Key staff thoroughly enjoy helping our guests coordinate activities during their stay - especially since we get our guests discounts all over the island. The idea of the ghost/history tour on Day 1 is great - another idea is to do Lloyd's Tropical Bike Tour which gives you a full tour of the island on bicycle with a 30+ year local guide who will have you laughing the entire time. Suzy's Parrot Perch was perfect for our family. It was conveniently located in downtown Key West and was in walking distance of everything. In fact, we did not use our car until the day we left. The apartment was cozy and inviting, with plenty of privacy for us and our teenage son. Our guest services coordinator, Krystal, had thought of everything, including leaving lights on for us due to our late arrival our first night. She also provided us with a wonderful notebook with suggestions for restaurants, bars and activities to try while in Key West. We could not agree more that the location and comfort level of Suzy's Parrot Perch is perfect. Less than a block from Duval St and just a couple of blocks to the Southernmost Point and South Beach, this little gem really is a great place to perch in Old Town. Most of all, we love to hear that working with us was a breeze, as renting and enjoying a vacation home should NOT be a difficult process!

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at Suzy’s Parrot Perch in early June 2013. Last Key Realty handled all of the arrangements and could not have done a better job in making our trip a success! Alex was great in assisting us as our travel date neared. She was extremely helpful in making reservations for our bikes and offering tips for travel from the airport to the Perch (even offering to pick us up!). By the way, Eaton Bikes were a great recommendation by Alex. They treated us very well and kept our reservations open even though we were delayed two days in renting the bikes due to the tropical storm that blew in on our arrival. The apartment was as represented. Enough room for two couples without being crowded. Beds were comfortable and the amenities thorough. On the quiet end of the Duval St. area but very close to getting wherever you needed to go. We appreciated Alex checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Checkout was extremely easy. Alex called the evening before and we went over what few things we needed to do before we left the following morning. Extremely easy! Overall our experience was great with both the unit and with Last Key Realty. We will definitely use them again now that Southwest Airlines has a direct flight from New Orleans to Key West. Looking forward to our next trip to KW!!!!

This apartment is very nicely furnished and the kitchen is modern and well stocked with everything you need. We really enjoyed the location near Duval Street but far enough south that you aren't in the cruise ship pandamonium zone. For a couple looking for a nice place to stay, you won't go wrong here.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Suzy's Parrot Perch. It was just as advertised and all the other reviews of this place are right on when describing the Perch. Key West is a very busy and beautiful place so when the night was winding down we couldn't wait to get back to the Perch and just relax in comfort. The location is just so that your not in a busy or loud area of Key West and yet walking distance to Southernmost or Mallory Square. The Perch had everything you could want or need inside just a very comfy and clean place. Alex was wonderful as our quest service person and she told us about good places to eat, entertainment, bike rentals, and she checked on us periodically.. great job Alex!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice quiet stay in Key West and we will be back

We had a great stay at Suzy's Parrot Perch! The location was perfect! It was close to Duval street and many other attractions, but far enough away for some quiet time on the porch to read a book. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for two adults. We can't thank Alex at Last Key enough for all her help while we were in the Keys with places to eat and things to do. She is a gem! We plan on coming back and hope to stay in this same rental soon.

A wonderful place to stay in Key West! The location is perfect-one block off of Duval St so everything is within walking distance yet it is quiet enough at night to sleep. The suite is clean, updated, and very nicely decorated. Even though it is two bedrooms, the second bedroom is very small. However, I was with a group of four women and we were quite comfortable in the space. Alex is absolutely wonderful! She gave great suggestions for restaurants and things to do and periodically checked in on us to make sure all was going well. Overall, a great place that I highly recommend. I would definitely stay again if my travels ever bring me back to Key West.

A really nice apartment that is walking distance to nearly everything in Key West - we really enjoyed our stay here and everything was exactly as advertized in the listing. The only thing to note is that a parking space is not provided with the rental although there is street parking available (non-metered) to non-residents of Key West right outside of the apartment on Virginia street and we did not have any problems finding a space. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone considering a trip to Key West!

We had a lovely stay at Suzy's Parrot Perch! The house was even better than the photos. Everything we needed was in the kitchen...and we love to cook. The beds were comfy and the place was very clean and up to date. Alex from the management company met us and made us feel very welcome and cared for. We could not have chosen a better place to stay for our week in Key West. This is one block from Duval St, a couple blocks from the Southernmost Point, and it's situated perfectly to easily get around the whole island. It is very clean, cute, well-maintained, fully stocked with kitchen items and linens, it felt like a home away from home. Four of us stayed and it was very comfortable for everyone. Alex met us when we arrived and she was fantastic! She made sure we had what we needed and that we knew she was just a phone call away. She also recommended Eaton Bikes, best suggestion ever! From what we saw they really are the best on the island. They deliver and pick up, and through Last Key you get 10% off. We rented them at the beginning of the week and ended up keeping them through the whole week - it is best way to get around! This was truly a memorable vacation - thank you so much Alex and Suzy's Parrot Perch for helping us have such a great time!!

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Key West, this place is the best one to stay at! When we arrived the management company helped us out in every way. They checked up on us to make sure we were satisfied. The house was very clean, and very roomy when we arrived. This place has two bedrooms, that were very comfortable to sleep in. The living room with the two couches were very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had modern appliances and was a delight to make meals in. The bathroom has a large shower and was very clean and spacious The place comes with two balconies, one in the front and one in the back and was nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Overall, I would give this place a 10 out of 10, and the property management company a 10 out of 10. If you want a nice place to stay in Key West, you won't go wrong choosing this place.

My two adult children and I spent the Christmas holiday for the first time in Key West. This 2nd floor rental 'perch' could not have been more perfect for our stay! First, it's location offers the best of all worlds: one block from the hurly-burly of Duval Street where EVERYTHING a tourist could ever desire in shops, bars, and restaurants can be found. But it's Whitehead Street location also offers the relatively more quiet, neighborhood-like atmosphere where one can people-watch from the front deck and actually experience a sense of living in this slow-paced island paradise. I loved exploring the side streets away from Duval where you can find small restaurants, art galleries, and corner stores a little ways off the beaten track. We walked to everything - the Hemingway House, the Green Parrot Bar where we rocked to a Led Zeppelin cover band, the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor. We tried to squeeze in as much biking, snorkeling, kayaking, and jet-skiing as a week allowed, but we could always return at night to the perch and sometimes just spend a quiet evening there without the institutionalized feel of a hotel room! Second, this place comes so well-equipped that you want for nothing! I hosted 9 friends for a Christmas Day brunch here and found all the plates, utensils, cooking pans and bowls I needed. The kitchen has a blender, coffee pot, microwave, etc. Beach towels, lots of bed linens, towels, and even laundry soap are all supplied. (yes, there is a washer/dryer!). The layout is perfect - 800 square feet may seem small, but there is a spacious feel and amble space. The front porch and back deck offer outside areas, the living area is open to the kitchen/dining, and the entire space is filled with light and air! The bathroom is a large and comfortable room, too. We three each took a separate room with my son in the "man cave" smaller bedroom, my daughter slept comfortably on the LR couch, and Mom got the main bedroom with deck off it! (as she should!) All in all, a great choice for us. We have friends who stayed in a big fancy hotel near Mallory Square where the gigantic cruise ships dock; and I wouldn't trade where we stayed for all the money they spent! This place allowed us to enjoy all that Key West offers and experience the local island culture and people.

My husband and I planned a last minute get-a-way to Key West. Last Key came through with time to spare. We began making plans Saturday September 15 at 12 pm and by 4 pm we were on the road leaving Naples for Key West. Rachel met us on Stock Island at 11:00 pm and escorted us to Suzy's Parrot in Key West. It was the weekend of the annual Poker Run and she was worried that our navigation system would take us to roads closed for the event. Talk about excellent customer service. Suzy's Parrot was clean, fully stocked with conveniences, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The bed was very nice and the bathroom was large and spotless. We used the kitchen for every meal. I love to cook and armed with Key West fresh seafood I went to town. I wasn't missing anything. There were basic spices, storage options, good pots, nice plates and silver and even a good bottle of olive oil. The location was great! We were literally one block from Hemmingway's, a bike rental and all the goods on Duval Street. Needless to say, we walked or biked everywhere. Although we were close to it all we were in a quiet area with plenty of local color to watch from our balcony. The Property manager Shel was the best! He was very attentive and super helpful especially when we unwittingly lock our selves out. He appeared within five minutes and in less than a 1/2 hour we were inside with the help of a locksmith. Shel is humorous and laid back. He exemplifies Island life style. In fact, when he discovered that I left my jacket behind he contacted me immediately. His wife actually laundered my jacket before he mailed it. What a class act. The only critical comment I have is regarding the living room DVD and VCR player. (I'm only adding this for balance as everything is so complimentary thus far.) It didn't work well and after much frustration while trying to get through "The Descendants" we decided to swap the bedroom DVD player. That solved the problem. We really enjoyed the rest of the film, sad though it was. We loved our impromptu vacation thanks to Last Key, their wonderful staff and excellent customer service.
