Exceeded Expectations!

We just returned from a month long visit to Key West while staying at Layover in Paradise. The accommodations were fantastic and even more impressive than the photographs! The property was immaculate and very well equipped. The backyard and pool were key features and provided a perfect space to relax and socialize. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable and the pool area allows for a good mix of sun and shade. We found the location to be walkable to many restaurants and popular attractions.

The hospitality, professionalism, and attentiveness awarded to us from Victor and Rodney from Last Key Realty exceeded our expectations! Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

Another Great Stay with Last Key

Layover in Paradise is a beautiful home.  The location is great, can walk to beaches, downtown, many restaurants.  The home is updated and well cared for.  The yard is spacious and the pool is refreshing.  We don't deal with anyone other than Last Key Realty for our rental needs in Key West.  People and service are top notch.

Best on the island!

Because our offices shifted to work-from-home for the year, we decided to work from a "new home" for a while—and spent a little over 5 months during the course of the year staying with Last Key Realty at Layover in Paradise. The house itself is lovely. It's large and comfortable, with all the amenities you'd expect at this price point. It's in a quiet neighborhood that offered us great routes for daily exercise walks, and the ocean and other attractions are an easy stroll away. But we never really left the house due to COVID precautions, and we didn't miss a thing. The pool is great, there's a nice ocean breeze constantly blowing on the front porch. The open design of the living area is bright and welcoming. Also, the master bath is really great. Totally first class overall. We had all our groceries delivered via Instacart and many takeout deliveries from restaurants. The bottom line is that it was the perfect pandemic escape for us—and I imagine it will only be better when restrictions lift in the future. We felt 100% safe and comfortable the entire time. In terms of management, we were blown away by Last Key. Greg, who managed our house, was in constant communication. Anything we needed (and we didn't need much) was addressed immediately. More importantly, he just made us feel at home. We arrived to treats for us and our dog, too. Little touches like receiving messaging letting us know "I am off today but so-and-so is covering for me so let her know if you need anything at all!" seem basic but you never really get that treatment from other management companies. When we had a question or needed advice about the island, Greg answered immediately. Likewise, Rodney (who managed the business side of our stay) was always incredibly helpful and responsive. And one day when the island lost all cell service and internet for the day, I drove to the main office and the team there happily let me borrow their landline to make an emergency call to my team back home to explain why I would be missing all my meetings that morning! Last Key is a class act. Best on the island, for sure. I enthusiastically recommend Layover in Paradise. But if it's not available, I trust any Last Key property would deliver the same level of service we received.

We spent February 2019 at Layover In Paradise

It was the most incredible house we have rented in Key West !!! The location was perfect, we could easily walk to all our favorite spots. Two blocks to tennis and the beach. Four minute walk to Louie's Backyard restaurant. The house was incredible , with everything you could possibly need. or want. Loads of soft towels, and luxury bed linens. The bathrooms were like spa retreats. The kitchen was stocked with quality pots and pans, and plenty of dishes and glasses. The internet speed was super fast. Even though I usually feel very safe in Key West, it was nice to have the locking gates, and gated carport. The waterfall and pool lights were very romantic, and cozy at night. The combination of the unsurpassed service of Last Key Realty and the luxurious accomodations of Layover in Paradise, came together to give us the best vacation we have ever had in Key West.
